The Gettysburg Seminary Ridge Museum uses a rich collection of personal accounts to present Voices of Duty and Devotion across multiple floors in the historic 1832 Lutheran Seminary: the pivotal first day of the Battle of Gettysburg; the heroic work of doctors and nurses caring for wounded within these walls; and issues of faith and freedom – the religious debate over slavery, the struggle of local African Americans to build secure lives, and the continued pursuit of freedom and equality over the last 150 years.
