Museum of the Bible

History of the Bible

PRD played two central roles in the development of the Museum of the Bible. First, PRD provided overall project coordination for all exhibit teams, and second, PRD developed the content and design of the 30,000 sf History of the Bible exhibit. Based on the largest private collection of biblical materials, the exhibit uses artifacts, media, immersive environments, and hands-on activities to trace the story of the Bible from its origins in rare texts, through its adoption by several faith traditions, to its universal access in digital form.

Our Principal, Bill Lazenby worked with a team of prominent scholars from around the world to develop the content for the 30,000-square-foot History of the Bible exhibit. Combining over 600 artifacts from one of the world’s premier collections with interactive storytelling, this exhibit immerses the visitor in the Bible’s journey through time, technology, language, and culture, from handwritten scrolls to modern digital Bibles available throughout the world.
