We Have Come to Stay! tells the story of the pivotal first day of the Battle of Gettysburg through the eyes of the Union soldiers who sacrificed their lives so that the rest of the Army could reach Gettysburg in time. Steeped in Sorrow and Death presents the heroic work of doctors and nurses who worked to care for more than 600 wounded within these walls following the battle.
Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory examines issues of faith and freedom: the religious debate over slavery that occurred throughout the country and within the Seminary itself, the struggle of local African Americans to build secure lives just north of the Mason-Dixon Line, and the continued pursuit of freedom and equality over the last 150 years.
