Voices of the Land is the core exhibit at the new East Tennessee History Center in Knoxville. Incorporating the restored Custom House and new construction, the Center itself is a reflection of the dynamic relationship between old and new in this rapidly changing area. Using the Center’s extensive collection of historic objects and manuscripts, PRD designed the exhibit to emphasize the influence of the land on the region’s history and to give voice to the changing relationship of people to this place.
